Photo Tips – to be a Picture Thinker

What comes to mind when you hear the phrase: “A picture tells a thousand words”? If you are dyslexic or are close to someone who does not, you realize that this is a much more detailed explanation than many people give it credit for having.

It is said that a verbal thinker, 2 to 5 can have thoughts per second. A dyslexic person is considered a picture thinker and thoughts would be 32 per second. Picture is thought to have a total of 400 by 2000, faster than verbal thinking. This information is taken from: “The Gift of Dyslexia” by Ronald D. Davis.
If a verbal thinker learns the word “CAT”, for example, he has basically 4 thoughts, every letter and how they sound together. The picture thinker, on the other side is the letters in the word you see “CAT” in at least 40 different ways before it by noises. From an outside perspective, it seems that the picture thinker is hampered because he or she is so much slower speed, but in reality is much stronger effort in the process.

After he worked for a large portrait of a nation-wide chain, I remember that up to 7 shots per portrait session is limited. Even if I only shoot a subject that still came across as a verbal thinking, (very limited). When I was shooting pictures of a family that made me even fewer options. A picture thinker on the other hand, could easily shoot 30 to 40 photos of the same subject and to keep any of it. If they wanted to push him, a picture thinker could do 50 or 60 pictures of the same subject.

Some will argue that if you take that many photos with the same subject, of course, you get “lucky” with a few shots. In my opinion, has nothing to do with luck. If you (consider all the possibilities and not only left, right, up or down), something magical begins to happen, you start in this section, the fact that typing a few of us, it dare to venture capital funds. You start your creative edge can be found in photography.

Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, John F. Kennedy, Steven Spielberg, Whoopi Goldberg, Cher, Henry Winkler, and all were successful in spite of NOT with dyslexia, but especially because it works with the. Because they picture thinkers, they were on the larger vision (no pun intended). Also you can share this vision by releasing yourself from your own limits.

Of course, you will have more failures, because you have made more attempts, but as Thomas Edison once said: “I have not failed. I know 10,000 ways not invent the light bulb.”

Of course, if you are a newspaper or a portrait photographer, photographers, people in the queue at Christmas that would not be the best time to have your creativity run wild. But on the other hand, if once a week or even once a month, she took each issue and pushed it over your limits. . . I guarantee you these limitations begin to expand.

If ever mandate dominate what they have learned it so well, they can think about it without doing what they do, too. It is human nature that we all learn by doing. I invite you to step outside your comfort zone and shoot more photos than you’ve ever made on a single subject in your life. This process will help transform you from a verbal thinker in a picture thinker.

If you master how you think you’ll find your gift is no longer a handicap. You will see things without effort that will be missing a dozen other photographers at the same event. If you are talking about photography, how to take your photographs to take the next level, are seriously.
